Five cylinders of pure power, coupled with enhanced driving dynamics: that’s the new Audi RS Q3 performance. The familiar 2.5 litre TFSI engine of the RS Q3 was given a 20 kW power boost to 270 kW (367 PS), with all of that power delivered to the road through a 7 speed S tronic and permanent quattro all-wheel drive. The RS Q3 performance sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, and tops out at 270 km/h.
The seven-speed S tronic has been refined for the RS Q3 performance: the lower gears of the ultra fast-shifting dual-clutch transmission feature a sporty close ratio, while the seventh gear has been given a long ratio for better fuel economy. A shift paddle on the RS multi-function leather sport steering wheel lets you choose between two shift programs and manual shifting. When the Audi drive select driving dynamics system is in dynamic mode, each shift is accompanied by a double-clutch operation. A launch control function provides full acceleration from a stop. The quattro permanent all-wheel drive delivers the dynamics to the road. Its chief component: a hydraulically actuated and electronically controlled multi-plate clutch in front of the rear axle. The electronic control combines stability, traction and driving pleasure. Drive forces are distributed between the front and rear axle depending on the driving situation. This can even happen selectively for a given wheel as a result of the link with the electronic stability control (ESC) system. The ESC can be deactivated, as in other RS models, and it has a reconfigured sport mode.
Sporty down to the last detail - the interior of the Audi RS Q3 performance. Whether it’s the contoured sport seats with embossed RS Q3 logo, the flat-bottomed RS multi-function leather sport steering wheel with shift paddles, or stainless steel pedals – everywhere you look, you’ll find athletic design paired with high-quality materials. On request you can also add accents such as seat upholstery in black/blue perforated Alcantara/leather combination with blue stitching. This goes perfectly with the optional inlays in carbon twill blue with woven blue contrasting threads. The instrument cluster has gray dials with white scales and red needles, and the colour display of the driver information system (DIS) displays the boost pressure, oil temperature and a lap timer in a special RS menu.
More power with no compromises: the familiar 2.5 litre TFSI engine of the RS Q3 has been tuned up for use in the Audi RS Q3 performance. Developers gave the five-cylinder turbocharged engine 20 kW (27 PS) more power by means of increased cooling capacity in the new main radiator and an optimised fuel pump. A power plant that delivers spontaneous response, impressive power delivery and breathtaking performance with a maximum torque of 465 Nm at 1625-5550 rpm. No less impressive: the sporty soundscape of the 5-cylinder unit. With the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and with a top speed of 270 km/h, the Audi RS Q3 performance makes it clear that more power always means more emotion.
The Audi RS Q3 performance combines dynamic design with exceptional distinguishing features. The result: a powerful SUV with unmistakable athletic character. On request, painted in shimmering Ascari metallic blue – available exclusively for the RS Q3 performance. The exterior has been sharpened with numerous details in a matt titanium look. The single-frame, the air intake duct with quattro logo, the side flaps and the roof rails are kept in the matt titanium look, as are the exterior mirror housings, the trim strips on the side windows, the side fins on the RS roof edge spoiler and the top of the diffuser insert. The RS Q3 performance also offers the option of 20 inch cast aluminium wheels in 5-twin-spoke V design. At the rear of the vehicle, the red brake calipers shine and the RS exhaust system underscores the dynamic look with its large oval tailpipe: every detail makes an unmistakable statement.
